Independence Day Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm at Alpine Public School, Nalagarh
Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Alpine Public School, Nalagarh. The program began with the hoisting of the national flag by the Chairperson of Alpine School, Mr. Vijay Joshi. Principal Mrs. Bindu, Vice Principal Mr. Harpreet Singh, along with the students of NCC, NSS, and Scouts & Guides, warmly welcomed the Chief Guest.
Students from Pre-Nursery to Classes IX and XI actively participated in various activities organized on the occasion. On 15th August, an Independence Day Quiz Competition was held in which all students participated enthusiastically. Students presented patriotic speeches, group songs, and dances, mesmerizing the audience. With tricolour flags in their hands and dressed in patriotic colours, students performed on songs like Meri Shaan Tiranga, Mera Bharat Mahan, Kesari, and Vande Mataram.
The celebrations also featured enchanting tableaux, devotional songs, and dances on the theme of Janmashtami by students from Classes I to III.
While extending warm wishes on Independence Day, Principal Mrs. Bindu highlighted that this day is a celebration of the freedom earned through the supreme sacrifices of countless martyrs. She reminded everyone that freedom is our legacy, and it is our responsibility to preserve it through education, discipline, and patriotism.
Chairperson Mr. Vijay Joshi congratulated everyone on the occasion, stating that as we complete 79 years of independence, it is not just a celebration but also a day to remember the struggles and sacrifices of our freedom fighters. He emphasized that it is now our duty to strengthen this freedom with education, discipline, and integrity.
The program concluded with the National Anthem. Director Mrs. Prem Lata Joshi extended her greetings and urged students to honour the nation’s hard-earned freedom through their actions, and to take the country to new heights with education, discipline, and patriotism.
