Alpine Public School Shines at Under-14 School Games

Students of Alpine Public School Nalagarh showcased their athletic prowess at the Under-14 school games held at Government Senior Secondary School Kunihar on 27th and 28th September 2024. The students secured an impressive haul of 3 gold, 2 silver, and 6 bronze medals.

Tushank Gupta clinched gold in the 100m race, while Prateek Pandey bagged gold in the Long Jump. Jaspreet Singh and Sarthak Chandel earned silver medals in wrestling, and Harsimran Kaur added another gold in the Long Jump. Harsimran Kaur also secured a bronze in the 100m, while Prateek Pandey took bronze in the High Jump. The relay team consisting of Rishu Chaudhary, Tushank Gupta, Prateek Pandey, and Sidhant won bronze in the 4×100m relay.

Director Mrs. Prem Joshi congratulated the students and emphasized that sports are an integral part of the Alpine ecosystem, promoting the overall development of students. The gold medalists have been selected to represent Solan District at the state-level games. Principal Mrs. Bindu and Vice Principal Mr. Harpreet Singh appreciated the students' efforts and wished them a bright future in their athletic pursuits.
